The Jabra Evolve2 30 is an affordable solution to bring added quality to your work from home virtual meetings and calls with features that will make them even easier and more comfortable.

If you think about our current situation with most working or learning from home it’s important you can hear and be heard clearly on video meetings and conference calls. The Jabra Evolve2 30 can provide that quality.

The lightweight headset has UC (unified communication) certification which means its fully compatible with the popular communication applications. There is also a version of the products that is Microsoft Teams verified.

Priced at just $120, it’s also affordable.

The Jabra Evolve2 30 has foam cushioned ear pads and an adjustable headband so it will fit comfortably even if you’re working for hours.

The headband is made of stainless steel so it’s both flexible and durable.

The headphones connect with either a USB-C cable or USB-A cable (you can choose either version) so you’re assured of a connection that’s reliable rather than relying on a wireless Bluetooth connection.

If you’re working at home you don’t want to be making too much noise – and you would prefer to not be disturbed.

Either way the Jabra Evolve2 30 can help.

First of all it has two-microphone call technology so you’re coming in loud and clear on your call – no need to scream into the laptop.

Also onboard are 28mm speaker in the earcups so you can hear everything in crisp quality – and only you’ll hearing the other people on the call – not the entire household.

Even if you are in an open plan office – the Jabra Evolve2 30 can still offer the same clarity – and privacy.

The Microsoft Teams variant comes with a dedicated button on the right earcup that allows users to jump in and out of a virtual meeting with one touch.

The boom arm microphone can easily swing up and out of the way if you just want to listen or play some music.

There are several controls on the right earcup that offer even more convenience on the – the same side as the boom arm mic.

There’s are volume controls and a play/pause button if you’re listening to music. There’s also a dedicated mute/unmute button.

Speaking of mute – one of the annoying things about these virtual meetings is not knowing you’re on mute.

There’s a red light on the USB plug that will tell you your mute status so no need for others to say the dreaded phrase – “you’re on mute”.

There’s even a busy light which illuminates when you’re on a call and acts like a “do not disturb” sign to those around you.

This light can also be activated manually to give you some peace and quiet.

Users can also download the Jabra Direct app for Windows or Mac that allows you to upgrade to the latest firmware.

Quality wise we were impressed by the clarity both on the audio and on the microphone.

It does a good job in reducing ambient noise.

The microphone is high enough quality to be heard clearly on a call or video chat but not quite in the same ball park as a microphone or headset you’d use for a podcast.

Audio quality when listening to music was also impressive.

The headphones ship in an environmentally sturdy paper bag and also come with a cloth storage pouch.

The Jabra Evolve2 30 is available now and is priced at $120.
