Amazon has released the Fire TV Stick HD – one of the smallest and most affordable streaming devices that can upgrade your TV.
Priced at $79, the Fire TV Stick HD is the slimmest streaming device Amazon has produced.
It is 30 per cent faster than previous models of the HD stick and has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 support so it has a better and more stable connection.
The Fire Stick HD is an ideal product to upgrade older TVs and provides its own interface and access to all of today’s most popular streaming services.
Also included is a remote control which also provides voice control to make it easier to find your content.
The device connects to one of the TV’s HDMI ports and draws its power through a USB cable that connects to one of the TVs USB ports.
If the TV doesn’t have a USB port it can be connected vis the USB cable to a wall adapter.
In the months ahead Amazon will introduce a new Adaptive Display setting to the Fire TV Stick HD, which will make text, menus, and content easier to navigate on the screen.
This feature will increase the size of smaller text in menus and scale up larger items like content artwork to provide an easier browsing experience
The Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is available to pre-order today for $79 and will ship on April 29.
