Apple has confirmed it will kick off its 2025 Worldwide Developer Conference 2025 on June 9 (June 10 AEST time) With apple expected to unveil updated operating systems for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Vision Pro and Apple TV.
WWDC will be an online event open to all developers for free but Apple will also hold a special in-person event for selected developers and students at Apple Park.
Developers and students can apply for a special event pass to attend the event through Apple’s website here.
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is where we get the first glimpse of the next generation of operating systems developed for each of Apple’s devices.
It is here where developers can learn of these new features so they are able to adapt their own apps to make better use of these enhancements.
We are expecting to see iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS16, tvOS19, watchOS12 and visionOS3.
iOS 19 will reportedly have its largest design overhaul for some time with rumours it will adopt the more rounded design and floating look of the visionOS from the Vision Pro.
Other menu elements and buttons are also expected to have a more glassy design.
This design change is expected to flow through to iPadOS 19 and macOS16.
