LG has released the new LG TONE Free wireless earbud line-up which now includes Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking to take your audio experience in a new direction.
The LG Tone Free range includes the T90 and TF8 which include new designs and build quality along Active Noise Cancellation and improved battery life.
And LG has continued its partnership with surround-sound audio technology leaders Dolby and UK hi-fi brand Meridian.

Thanks to these partnerships, that own free T90 flagship model boasts new audio features including Dolby Head Tracking.
These are the world’s first wireless earbuds to feature Dolby’s technology.
So when listening to Dolby Atmos content, Dolby Head Tracking you are not only hearing the signature detail and clarity but the audio coming from all directions.
The LG TONE Free T90 earphones are also the first to feature an audio virtualizer designed by Dolby specifically for earbuds to provide an expanded spatial dimension.
Meridian also contributes with its Headphone Spatial Processing (HSP) technology which recreates the natural acoustics found in the company’s high-end speaker systems so customers will hear a clear and natural soundstage.
Under the hood, the LG TONE Free T90 has a new driver unit which uses graphene, a premium material that can both reduce vibration and improve sound.
The earphones were created in partnership with South Korea’s POSTECH ergonomic design technology lab and have been optimised to fit better and feel lighter in your ear so you can wear them for hours on end.
Also onboard is Voice Pickup vibration which is a sensor that can detect and reduce ambient sound whenever the user is speaking to make calls even clearer.
The LG TONE Free TF8 earphones are aimed at customers who want to hear high quality audio while they’re exercising.
It not only delivers excellent audio an impressive functionality, but it also has a lightweight design which offers better air circulation for improved comfort and breathability during your workouts.
The TF8 is also resistant to sweat, water and dust thanks to its IP67 rating.
Both the T90 and TF8 models include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with the T90 offering the Double Step ANC algorithm and Real Time ANC optimizer.
This takes advantage of a new filter and uses a higher sampling rate to block external sound even more efficiently while the real-time ANC optimizer can automatically adjust ANC based on the position of the earbuds inside the ears through the inner microphones.
The new LG TONE Free earphones include improved battery performance with the T90 offering up to nine hours of use on a single charge.
The charging case can then provide a further 20 hours for a total of 29 hours of listening.
The TF8 goes even better at 10 hours and up to 30 hours with the charging case.
Both models also have a quick charge functionality which offers one hour of listening time from just five minutes of charging in the case.
