Australian consumer electronics brand Laser has made the cost of creating a smart home more affordable than ever before with the Connect range and has reduced products like its Smart Light Bulbs down to just $10.

The Connect SmartHome range has enjoyed huge success since being available exclusively through Harvey Norman and now it offers significant price reductions to make them an even more affordable option.

The $10 Smart Light Bulbs are ow actually as cheap as regular light bulbs and will be available alongside the Connect Smart Wi-Fi Plug ($18) and a Smart Indoor Security Camera ($39).

These products are compatible with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa which means they can all be controlled with your voice and through the Connect SmartHome app which is available free on iOS and Android.

Sales data through Laser and Harvey Norman indicates customers are choosing smart lights and smart switches as their first products on the road to make their homes smarter.

“As a proud and well-established Australian company, we are well positioned to service this category, challenge existing pricing structures, and provide customers with affordable options in creating their connected home, often for the very first time,” says Laser managing director Chris Lau.

“In under a year, Connect has become a key driver of the smart home categories through our partnership with Harvey Norman, and today’s price reductions will only continue our drive to make this technology as accessible to as many people as possible.”
