xps13main2Dell has released its sleek XPS 13 ultrabook which packs a 13-inch edge-to-edge display into a form factor that is closer to an 11-inch device.

The award-winning device is just 18mm thick and weighs in at just 1.36kg. It combines ergonomic design and durability into a small and easily portable unit.

Under the hood the XPS 13 also has it where it counts with an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, 128GB solid-state drive (SSD), 4GB RAM and fast boot up and resume for always-on connectivity.

On the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection plus a carbon fibre base which makes it strong without the added bulk and weight.

Despite the device’s smaller size there is still a full size keyboard which is also backlit so it can be used anywhere and in any lighting conditions – including the darkened cabin of an aircraft.
