Bose has released the next generation of its popular go-anywhere SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker with a number of enhancements to sit alongside the excellent audio quality.
The SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II has the same compact shape and design as the original and is available in two colours – Carbon and Pearl.
It is just 18cm wide, 5.1cm high and 5.9cm deep with a weight of 700g.
But despite its small size it can still produce a great sound with surprisingly solid bass and impressive clarity.
The new Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II now has a built-in speakerphone option to take your calls out loud while paired with your smartphone.
And your music will resume automatically when you’ve finished talking.
Pairing your device is even easier with voice prompts that talk you through the whole process and identify your devices by name.
The Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II can store up to eight paired devices in its memory and two devices can be paired at the same time.
On the rechargeable battery side, you’re also looking at another improvement over the original model with now up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge.
The Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II is available now and is priced at $299.
Softcovers for the speaker in Deep Red, Energy Green, Navy Blue, Charcoal Black and Grey are also sold separately at $29.95 each.
