JBL has announced a range of upgraded soundbars to offer an immersive surround sound experience when watching movies, playing games and listening to music.
The new line-up includes the Bar 300, Bar 500, Bar 800, Bar 1000 and the flagship
Bar 1300. All are available in black and white.
The new JBL soundbars connect via HDMI eARC with 4K Dolby Vision passthrough regardless of the brand of your TV.
All JBL’s soundbars can be set up with the JBL ONE app, customised with a precise equaliser and paired to your favourite music apps.
In fact you can enjoy your music and podcasts through the JBL soundbars when it nit being used while watching TV.
It will work with online music streaming services through AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready.
The JBL ONE app also makes it easier to run software upgrades to enjoy all the latest features.
The JBL soundbars can be linked to voice-enabled smart speakers to control your music.
Also onboard is PureVoice 2.0 which optimises and enhances the dialogue audio channel based on the volume of the soundbar and the ambient sound in the room. Now you won’t miss a word of what is said on the screen.
Users can hear remarkable cinematic sounds coming from all directions with Dolby Atmos while MultiBeam 3.0 offers a wide soundstage so you can enjoy every car chase and explosion with room-filling sound.
JBL BAR 300MK2 – $549.95
The JBK Bar 300MK2 is a 5.0 channel all-in-one compact soundbar with 450W output and punchy bass even though there is no separate subwoofer.
JBL BAR 500MK2 – $769.95
This 5.1 channel soundbar has a 750W max output and includes a separate 10-inch wireless subwoofer to supply next level bass.
JBL BAR 800MK2 – $999.95
The JBL Bar 800MK2 is a 7.1 channel soundbar system with 780W max output with detachable surround speakers and a 10-inch wireless subwoofer.
When it’s movie time, you can detach the surround speakers from the main soundbar and place them behind you at the back of the room.
They don’t need power because they have built-in rechargeable batteries that will run for hours. And when you’re done simply reattach them to the soundbar so they can recharge and be ready for your next viewing session.
JBL BAR 1000MK2 – $1,599.95
This is a 7.1.4 soundbar system with detachable panoramic surround sound speakers and Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility.
This system has a 960W max output.
JBL BAR 1300MK2 – $2,299.95
The JBK Bar 1300MK2 is a 11.1.4 channel soundbar with detachable surround speakers and a stunning 2470W max output.
The detachable surround speakers can create 3D spatial sound.
Combine that with six upfiring speakers in the soundbar and you get an immersive cinematic sound experience.
Also includes is an 8-inch dual driver subwoofer that delivers a solid 1200W of max output power from a small and rounded speaker.
All JBL detachable speakers can also be used in their own through the JBL ONE app for those times when you want to listen on your own.
