Fetch TV has reinvented itself with the introduction of a $3.99 monthly access subscription for new customers designed to challenge higher-priced Pay TV offerings.
Fetch TV’s new subscription model is a shot across the bow of Foxtel and designed to attract those customers with a set-top box.
The new Fetch TV subscriptions start at $3.99 but still requires a Fetch access device which needs to be purchased up front.
These are the compact Fetch Mini G5 hub ($159) or the Fetch Mighty PVR ($599) and can be purchased from leading retailers or the Fetch Official Store.
Customers can then activate their account for a one-off $5 fee and access a world of content for as low as $3.99 a month.
“We are democratising premium home entertainment so everyone can have the experience without the price tag,” said Dominic Arena, CEO of Fetch TV.
“Australian families are juggling more subscriptions than ever with ‘fragmentation fatigue’ being real and the rising cost of providing family entertainment is making it harder to keep up.
“Our research confirms that while households love content, they are looking for a better way to manage it and save some money along the way.
“By introducing an access subscription at less than the cost of one coffee per month and enabling Fetch customers to add no-contract content packs from as little as $7.99
or the entire Ultimate experience with 40+ premium TV channels plus view-on-demand for only $24.99, Fetch has hands-down the best value home entertainment solution in market.”
Here’s what included in the Fetch Access subscription:
