Oppo’s Find X smartphone with slide-up camera system launches in Australia

Oppo has launched its new Find X smartphone in Australia. It is a stylish flagship device that has a unique camera system which slides up out of the top to reveal itself when you want to snap a picture.

Having the camera out of the way like this means you have even more room for a larger screen which now goes all the way to the top of the device with the Find X.

And because of this almost the entire front of the Oppo Find X is the display which brings the screen-to-body ratio to an amazing 93.8 per cent.

Oppo’s Find X will be available in two impressive colours – Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue – which reflect the light beautifully.

And priced at $1,099, the Find X will be the company’s first smartphone to compete for the high-end customer.

The camera system is different but it’s also high quality with 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel shooters on the back and a 25-megepixel camera for all the selfie lovers.

There’s also 3D facial recognition onboard that works to not only enhance your selfies but also provide even more robust security for the phone as well.

Oppo Find X is running the Android 8.1 operating system along with the ColorOS 5.1 user interface.

The device also has VOOC fast charging so you can charge the phone to 100 per cent in just 35 minutes.

The Oppo Find X will be priced at $1,099 and available from tomorrow (August 16) exclusively through JB Hi-Fi.
