Samsung has announced the release of the Galaxy Watch FE – the latest stylish addition to the Samsung smartwatch family that will give user a new and accurate way to monitor their health and fitness.

Priced at $399, the new Galaxy Watch FE has a 40mm face and retains the iconic design of the Galaxy Watch series.

It is available in Black and Gold and has a range of one click watch bands to mix and match.

Also onboard the Galaxy Watch FE range of new watch faces which are customizable beneath a sapphire crystal glass which offers protection against scratches during day-to-day use.

Onboard is Samsung’s advanced bioactive sensor which gives the Galaxy Watch FE a range of powerful fitness and wellness functions which deliver detailed and personalised information and actionable tips day and night.

It also includes advanced sleep features which can not only monitor your sleep but also coach you to sleep better and create a more sleep-friendly environment.

On the workout side, the Galaxy Watch FE can track more than 100 different workouts and includes for runners advanced running and analysis to maximise your efficiency and performance.

Users can also find their optimal training level with the personalised heart rate zone to help you reach your fitness goals based on your physical capabilities.

Galaxy Watch FE can also look at your body composition and offer body and fitness data which can be used as another metric to track your progress.

The watch will even offer up motivational messages to help you get to the finish line and reach your goals.

“At Samsung, we strive to bring health and fitness monitoring capabilities to as many people around the world as possible, helping them to make the changes needed to improve their wellness daily and help them reach their goals,” said Junho Park, VP and Head of the Galaxy Ecosystem Product Planning Team, MX Business at Samsung Electronics.

“We’re excited to add the new Galaxy Watch FE to our wearables portfolio, offering more people access to personalised health insights that empower them to be motivated and stay healthier day and night.”

The Galaxy Watch FE slots right into the Galaxy ecosystem and can connect with compatible Galaxy devices.

Users can easily locate their phone with their watch when it’s disconnected and even remotely control your Samsung smartphone camera with the camera controller.

Galaxy watch FE can also support Samsung Wallet so you can pay for purchases and access identification cards such as a drivers licence or student ID on the watch in a true all-in-one digital wallet.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is priced at $399 and will go on sale on July 1.
