The new LG Smart Monitor Swing is coming to Australia in July to give users a screen they can use for work and play anywhere in their home.
Unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, the LG Smart Monitor Swing is the latest addition to the LG smart monitor lineup and the recipient of a CES 2025 innovation award.
It is both a productivity and entertainment tool which can be used without a PC and offers touch screen capabilities while perched on a flexible and movable stand.
It has a 32-inch 4K UHD screen (3840 X 2160) for excellent image quality and provides plenty of space for multitasking and viewing your content on a grand scale.
The unit has a rolling stand that can be moved into a comfortable viewing position and touch friendly angles so it meets the needs and preferences of all users whether you’re enjoying a movie in bed or setting up a productive workspace near a desk.
No matter the scenario, the LG Smart Monitor Swing can adapt to the situation.
It is also powered by LG’s webOS smart TV platform which means it supports productivity and entertainment apps.
The full touchscreen functionality is a first for the LG smart monitor series so users can enjoy more intuitive navigation and content management.
Also onboard are built-in speakers so there is no need to bring in an external system.
On the connectivity side it includes a USB-C port with 65W power delivery and a HDMI port so it is compatible with multiple devices including gaming consoles and set top boxes.
The LG Smart Monitor Swing also has an Auto Pivot function which can automatically adjust the display orientation to match the type of content you’re watching.
And, of course, you can also connect this screen to a PC and perform as a fully-fledged monitor with features to boost productivity including the ability to split your screen using preset layouts to spread out your work while multitasking.
“The new LG Smart Monitor Swing redefines versatility in the personal display category, offering users a one-stop screen solution for all their productivity and entertainment needs,” said YS Lee, head of IT Business at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company.
“LG remains committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation, delivering smart monitors that not only adapt to users’ lifestyles and interests but also support their creative pursuits.”
The LG Smart Monitor Swing will soon be available to pre-order and will go on sale in July. Pricing is yet to be announced.
