Fitbit Versa 2 tracks your health, fitness and sleep and now has Amazon Alexa onboard

Fitbit has just released its latest device – the Versa 2 Watch – which can track your fitness, your health and your sleep and now includes Amazon Alexa on your wrist.

The health and fitness watch has an always-on display so you can always view the time, your stats and your workout.

The device actually has a larger display area so you can fit more information on the screen.

The strength of the Fitbit Versa 2 is not only tracking your health and fitness but also offering guidance and insights to help you improve and reach your fitness goals.

Users can track their heart rate in real-time 24/7 so they can see their resting heart rate as well as during their workouts.

There are more than 15 goal-based exercise modes which include running, walking, cycling, swimming and yoga.

Versa 2 lets you track your speed and distance and other stats in real-time and can also connect to your phone’s GPS to track your runs and rides.

And because the Fitbit Versa 2 is water resistant to 50m, you can also dive in and track all of your pool workouts.

Fitbit has also launched a Premium service through the companion app which uses the unique data you generate through the device to provide you with customised training and nutrition programs.

It will be priced at $14.99 a month or $129 a year.

On the sleep side, Versa 2 Watch also has your back and can track the length and quality of your sleep and even suggest ways you can improve.

It’s really easy to personalise the device with your choice from hundreds of watch faces which can be downloaded from the Fitbit app.

Speaking of apps, there are more than 3,000 apps which are compatible with the Fitbit Versa 2 including popular music and fitness apps.

Spotify music customers can also control the Spotify on the Versa 2 as well as add and store songs and playlists for easy access right there on your wrist.

And it’s a smart device as well because you can relay your notifications for calls, and messages and calendar appointments.

And with Amazon Alexa, the Fitbit Versa 2 allows users to check the weather, ask questions, set reminders and alarms just by using their voice.

The Fitbit Versa 2 Watch will be priced at $329.95 and will be available in several colour combinations – black/carbon aluminium, stone/mist grey aluminium, petal/copper rose aluminium, bordeaux/copper rose aluminium and emerald/ copper rose aluminium.
