Sony has unveiled its new WF-1000XM6 truly wireless active noise cancelling earbuds which deliver the company’s signature high quality sound, enhanced call quality and improved connectivity.
The already highly regarded 1000X series earbuds are now even better starting with an improved ergonomic design to make them even more comfortable and secure.
On the noise cancelling side, the new WF-1000XM6 earbuds offers a 25 per cent reduction in noise when compared to the previous model.
This is all due to the advanced HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3e which offers precise control of four microphones – one more than the predecessor – to pick up outside noise.
Sony’s advanced Integrate Processor V2 includes an Adaptive Noise Cancelling Optimiser which analyses the ambient sound and optimises the noise cancellation at every step from microphone to ear tip.
The result is an even more immersive listening experience that can separate you from your noisy surroundings.
The premium sound comes from two power processors working in harmony to deliver stunning clarity and detail that’s enhanced by the DAC amplifier performance.
The Integrated Processor V2 supports 32-bit processing – a jump from the 24-bit of the previous model – to deliver higher quality and richer sound.
The diaphragm combines different materials for the dome and edge to deliver immersive bass and extended high frequencies.
Call quality has also been enhanced with two microphones and a bone conduction sensor on each side which are used to created advanced AI beamforming noise reduction algorithm and capture your voice precisely.
The result is a crystal clear call even when you’re in noisy environments.
The connection is even more reliable with larger enhanced antennas to enable the latest generation of Bluetooth audio for ultra-low latency which makes it a good match for gamers.
The Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds offer eight hours of battery life and up to 24 hours from the charging case.
They also have Qi technology so they can also be charged wirelessly.
The Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds will be available in black and platinum silver and will be priced at $499.95. They will go on sale in the coming weeks.
