BlueAnt’s new Pump X ANC headphones are optimised to handle your hardest workouts

Australian audio company BlueAnt has released new over-ear active noise cancelling headphones called Pump X to offer a new and improved audio experience that’s optimised for workouts, fitness and an active lifestyle.

Pump X has a secure and comfortable fit with a rugged design and three colour combinations to suit all users.

What makes it suitable for you workout is its IP54 splashproof and sweatproof rating which can withstand your hardest workouts.

It also includes cooling gel ear pads which can also be swapped out for everyday memory foam ear pads) which are also included) when you’re not in the gym.

It has a simple one touch control panel which means it’s easy to adjust volume between exercises and sets.

The Pump X offers 35dB ANC (active noise cancellation) so you can really focus in on what you’re listening to.

But transparency mode is also available so you can stay familiar with your surroundings.

On the audio side, BlueAnt has made no shortcuts in form and function.

Under the hood are 40mm dynamic drivers and X Mode when you after that added moment of intensity.

“We know that over-ear headphones need to cater to an active lifestyle which means it needs to be rugged and resistant to elements – but those shouldn’t come at the cost of the audio experience, which it often does,” said BlueAnt CEO Taisen Maddern.

“That’s not the case with the Pump X, which was designed with flare and built with precision.

“It’s a perfect blend of form and function, designed to be easy to use, ready to withstand the rigors of a gym session and to pump bass and beats all day.”

The Pump X headphones can connect via Bluetooth 5.4 or with a USB-C audio cable.

There are four mics which also guarantee crystal clear calls anywhere whether you’re still in the gym, on the train or in a busy shopping centre.

This feature also makes the headphones ideal for teleconferencing.

With ANC turned on, Pump X provides 34 hours of playback or 58 hours with ANC off.

And a quick 10-minute charge will offer an additional four hours with ANC or six hours with ANC off.

The headphones also have a simple folding design and come with a carry pouch and hook so you can take them anywhere and have them on hand whenever you need them.

The BlueAnt Pump X headphones are available now for $299 at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and direct from the BlueAnt website.
