Samsung has confirmed a Galaxy Unpacked launch event in London which will unveil the next generation of its foldable devices and new smartwatches.
The event will take place in London on July 22 at 2pm local time – 11pm Sydney time.
Samsung has been teasing the event and what we can expect to see on social media.
There have been numerous posts showing off a new shape and others saying “a new shape unfolds”.
We believe this is referring to the rumoured new device that will be introduced at the event – a passport-sized foldable smartphone.
The rumours have been strong around a new Samsung device with a shorter, wider front screen that opens to a larger internal screen.
What’s interesting about this is that the rumoured Apple Ultra foldable iPhone will have a remarkably similar shape.
But Samsung is likely to beat Apple to the punch with the device that’s being called the Fold 8 Wide.
Samsung will also release its regular Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is an upgrade to last year’s excellent Z Fold 7.
Samsung is also expected to release a new Galaxy Watch and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Tech Guide will be in London for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event so stay tuned to for all the latest news, updates and hands-on product reviews.
