Samsung launches Galaxy Book 2 that’s always connected on the go

Samsung has launched a solid competitor for the Microsoft Surface with its new Galaxy Book 2 that’s packed with features and includes accessories like the S Pen and keyboard.

The PC is always connected thanks to the included Gigabit LTE connectivity.

The device has a 12-inch sAMOLED FHD+ with a resolution of 2160 x 1440.

Galaxy Book 2 is a 2-in-1 which means it can be used as a tablet and as a laptop by attaching the included keyboard.

Users can also write directly on the screen with the also included S Pen.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor and a Snapdragon X20 LTE Cat 18 modem with 4GB RAM and 128GB on onboard storage and a microSD card to expand the memory further.

Galaxy Book 2 is running Window 10 and has two USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the audio side, the Galaxy Book 2 has twin speakers tuned by AKG with built-in Dolby Atmos to provide all-enveloping sound to your presentation or movie.

Also onboard is Samsung Flow which links other compatible Samsung devices to transfer files and sync and mirror your Galaxy phone.

The Galaxy Book 2 is available now from Samsung and Telstra from $1,599 and will also be coming to Vodafone in the coming weeks.

Customers who purchase a Galaxy Book 2 from participating retailers before March 31 will receive a bonus Samsung Multiport Adaptor (valued at $179).
