Chinese tech brand Oppo launches new smartphones in Australia

Chinese manufacturer Oppo has become the latest company to try and stake their claim in Australia’s growing smartphone market.

Oppo, already a well-respected home entertainment brand which has produced high quality Blu-ray Disc players and audio products, will be releasing four mobile devices.

The Oppo smartphone will range in price from as little as $219 and all the way up to $719 to appeal to a wide range of customers.

Initially these new Oppo products will be available exclusively through the www.oppomobile.com.au site.

The hero product – the Find 7 – has a 5.5-inch Quad HD 2K screen with 538ppi (pixels per inch) along with a quad core 2.5Ghz processor, 3GB RAM and a 13-megapixel camera.

– Gorilla Glass 3

– 2,140mAh (Li-Ion), non-removable battery

– 16GB of internal storage capacity

FIND 7A – $629

– 5.5” Full HD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution at 403PPI display

– Quad-core, 2.3GHz processor with 2GB RAM

– 13-megapixel CMOS sensor by Sony, 4K video capture and ultra HD photography capabilities

– 2,800 mAh, rapid charge removable battery

– 16GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable up to 128GB

NEO 5 – $219

– 4.5” 854 x 480 resolution display

– Quad-core, 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM

– 1900 mAh (Li-Ion), removable battery

– 4GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable with a 32GB Micro SD

– 5-megapixel rear facing camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera
