The iPhone version of Foxtel Go app has all of the features of the iPad version with the ability for subscribers to watch live, catch-up or on demand programs.
Foxtel has also announced the app will include live access to Fox Sports 1, 2 and 3 just in time for the kick off of the rugby league, AFL and rugby seasons and the Australian cricket tour of India.
The app is also set to expand even further in March with the live channel line-up on the app growing to more than 50 channels.
The iPhone and iPad Foxtel Go app can be viewed on wi-fi or 3G and 4G networks.
If viewers are accessing the content on 3G or 4G networks it will impact on monthly data allowances.
An average half an hour show will take about 320MB to stream.
The Foxtel Go app for iPhone is available now with plans to release the app for PCs, Mac and the Android platform in 2013.
The app will only work for users who have a current Foxtel residential subscription.
