Without a headphone jack on the iPhone 7, users can connect their headphones to the Lightning port. But what do you do if you need a charge? Belkin has come up with the solution with the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar.
Developed in conjunction with Apple, the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar adaptor can turn that single Lightning port on the iPhone 7 to two.
One can be used to plug in your Lightning headphones (there’s no headphone jack remember) and the other to charge the iPhone 7.
Of course, you can also plug the iPhone 7’s Lightning to headphone adaptor to the Belkin adaptor as well to hear your regular headphones and get a charge as well.
On the charging side, the Belkin Audio + Charge RockStar can handle pass through charging of up to 12W for the iPhone and iPad.
It also works with the new iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case.
And on the audio front it can support up to 48KhZ, 24-bit output.
The Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar will be available in mid-October and priced at $59.95.
