Studio Proper unveils PA1 mountable Bluetooth speaker

Studio Proper, the Australian company that brought you the Wallee mounting system, has introduced a mountable Bluetooth speaker – the PA1.

The circular speaker can link wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet and be positioned anywhere on your home where a Wallee mount is located whether it’s on the wall or on a desk.

The Wallee mount is an x-shaped clip that can be placed on the wall, on a desk, in the car.

This then fits into Studio Proper’s iPad and iPhone cases and now the PA1 Bluetooth speaker.

Studio Proper’s PA1 has an aluminium body and can provide a room filling sound wherever it is positioned.

Stereo sound is delivered through three drivers and a tweeter along with two large bass drivers for excellent output at high, mid and low levels.

On the rear of the PA1 below the mounting cavity is the on/off/pairing button.

The front fabric speaker cover is also interchangeable and will initially be offered in black or white.

Studio Proper has listed the PA1 through Kickstarter is a site the company is using to gauge demand for the product before going into mass production.

Customers are able to back the project by pledging various amounts that will guarantee one of the first PA1 speakers to be produced along with a mounting disc.

The product is expected to be available in April 2014 but early birds can get in and reserve their PA1 now here.
