Amazfit, a leading smart wearable brand owned by Zepp Health has officially launched its Australian online store with a goal to deliver the next generation of wearables to provide meaningful and accurate guidance about their health, sleep, training, stress, and recovery.
The Amazfit devices incorporate proprietary biometric sensors and combine these with AI, sport science algorithms, advanced GPS technology and a long battery life.
Zepp Health develops both the hardware and the software for the Amazfit products, including its Zepp OS operating system, bio tracker biometric sensing platform, along with sports and health algorithms and AI-supported coaching tools.
The result is full control of the wearable experience on its products, from collecting information to the software interpreting it and the application presenting it to the customers.
The Amazfit approach is that high-performance technology should be accessible to everyday athlete along with functionality that was only previously available on more costly devices.
The local launch is being headlined by two of Amazfit’s most successful products, including the Amazfit Active 3 Premium and the Amazfit Helio Strap.
AMAZFIT ACTIVE 3 PREMIUM – $239
The Amazfit Active 3 Premium is a smartwatch built to help new and developing runners create structure in their training.
The device includes Zepp Coach Adaptive Running Plans along with Advanced Health and Recovery Monitoring plus offline maps with turn-by-turn navigation.
The 45mm stainless steel design includes four control buttons and a 1.32″ AMOLED display covered with sapphire glass.
The screen has a brightness of up to 3000 nits, which makes it easy to view maps and training data even in direct sunlight.
The device has up to 12 days of typical battery life to support ongoing training, sleep monitoring, and recovery tracking without the need to charge every day.
It is available in Apex Silver, Atlas Blue, and Aero White.
AMAZFIT HELIO STRAP – $166
The Amazfit Helio Strap is a screen-free wearable worn on the wrist or upper arm that can record your heart rate every second for more reliable readings during exercise.
The Helio Strap can broadcast real-time and accurate heart rate information to compatible Amazfit watches, cycling computers, fitness equipment, and applications.
You can record workouts without a phone and then synchronise with the Zepp app after you’ve completed your session.
It can also track sleep, recovery, HRV, and energy levels and includes 27 sport modes with 10 days of battery life and no subscription required.
