Samsung has unveiled its mid-tier range of smartphones – the Galaxy A37 5G and A57 5G – which put a range of flagship features within the reach of more customers.
The new devices continue Samsung’s mission of expanding AI capabilities across more devices.
And the AI they’re including stands for Awesome Intelligence and it will allow customers to discover its power and capabilities.
There have also been upgrades to the camera, performance and the display, along with security enhancements and even greater durability.
“The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratisation by bringing the latest innovations to more Galaxy users,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President, and Head of Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics.
“With Samsung’s fundamental capabilities combined with enriched Awesome Intelligence, Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G will deliver reliable everyday performance to users around the world and drive rapid AI expansion.”
The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G both have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display.
Both are running the latest One UI 8.5 with Awesome Intelligence that allows users to get more done as well as improving their creativity and productivity.
The AI features on board include Voice Transcription, a new feature on the Voice Recorder app, which presents a full transcription of what you’ve recorded in seconds after the recording is completed.
Also on board is Object Eraser, which allows users to remove the clutter in their images.
Another popular inclusion is Circle to Search with Google so you can search for multiple items from any image at the same time.
On the camera side the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G have a 50MP main sensor, which deliver impressive images in all kinds of lighting conditions.
The A57-5G has an enhanced image processing which can sharpen detail and reduce noise to create even finer results.
Both the A57 5G and A37 5G have AI-based subject recognition so scenes can be optimised and portraits balanced, including preserving natural skin tones and creating clearer background separation.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G will be priced at $749 (128GB) and $849 (256GB). It comes in Awesome Navy and Awesome Lilac.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G will be priced at $599 (128GB). It comes in Awesome Lavender and Awesome Charcoal.
They will go on sale on April 10.
