Cons
  • Dirty water tank can be hard to clean
  • Expensive

The Tineco Floor One S9 Artist does a stellar job keeping your hard floors clean with minimal physical effort on your part. You’ll really impressed with the results and equally impressed that the unit can clean itself.

Keeping your place clean – particularly your floors – has become quite the battleground and Tineco is one of the front runners with its new Floor One S9 Artist Pro.

It’s called Artist because Tineco says it can empower customers to perfect the art of the clean.

And it also has a pretty slick design that you won’t mind being out in the open rather than hiding it in the corner of the laundry.

While I am very impressed with the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist and the amazing job it does cleaning our floors, I also associate the product with a sad memory.

The Tineco Floor S9 Artist

I received the unit a couple of weeks ago around the same time our beautiful Dalmatian Logan was nearing the end of his life.

Near the end poor Logan would sometimes have some accidents in the house and the Tineco made it fast and easy to clean up after him so we could spend more time comforting him and enjoying every last moment with him.

The bottom line is the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist does a great job cleaning your hard floors.

Saying goodbye to Logan

It’s an ideal addition to your home if you have pets or small children and handy to clean those spot messes or to give your hard floors a solid general clean.

There are many features that all come together and make it easier to clean and keep itself clean, so you won’t be smelling awful pongs after the cleaning is done and dusted.

The iLoop Smart Sensor can detect dirt levels in real time and adjust the suction power and water flow.

This means you don’t have to sweep up before you mop like you did when using a traditional mop.

The Tineco offers suction at 22kPa as well so two birds – one stone.

What we loved and what made it effortless to use the Tineco was the Smooth Drive Technology which provided the propulsion forward and backwards on its omnidirectional wheels.

All we had to was aim the S9 Artist where we needed it.

And it can easily get under furniture thanks to its 180-degree lay-flat design.

Clean water tank

The mop also works right to the edge of the wall or your skirting boards to ensure you don’t miss any spots.

The clean water tank where you added the cleaning solution that comes in the box is on the top of the cleaning head above the roller brush.

And the whole time the roller brush is being cleaned so you’re never mopping with dirty water – it is lifted away and clean water is applied to the clean roller brush continuously.

Another thing you won’t see is hair and pet fur tangled on the brush – that’s because of the DualBlock Anti-Tangle design.

We used the Tineco on our tiled floor in our living area, kitchen, entry area and hallway.

These are high traffic areas that usually need a lot of attention.

We were really impressed with how well the Floor One S9 Artist produced such amazing results.

The brush roller stays fluffy

When you’re using the Tineco unit, you will see the sheen of the water on the floor so you know it’s doing its job.

And it always regulates the water flow properly to ensure there isn’t any excess water after you’ve made a pass.

The unit will tell you when it’s time to empty the dirty water tank which is located behind the middle section of the mop.

You can easily detach it and open it to empty the dirty water.

And you can tell it’s done a good job because the water we normally drain into our laundry tub or toilet is black.

Dirty water tank and filter

That’s the dirt it picked up off the floor and deposited into the dirty water tank.

It does such a good job that it will take you a while to get all the dirt and debris out of the dirty water tank.

We tried to get at it with a brush but the tank was too narrow for the brush to reach the bottom.

Now when you’re finished mopping you don’t need to lift a finger to clean the unit.

That happens when you put it back on the charging station.

The S9 Artist can go completely flat to fit under furniture

At this point it uses Flash Dry technology with heated fresh water to dissolve any stains and give the system a deep clean from the pipe to the brush roller.

And once it’s done that it then dries everything at 85-degrees and rotates the brush roller in both directions to not only make it clean but to keep it fluffy and prevent odours.

The Tineco Floor One S9 Artist Has a runtime of about 75 minutes which was plenty of time for us to keep our hard floor clean.

The Tineco Floor One S9 Artist is priced at $1,299  from Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Bing Lee, Mobileciti, Tech Sales Online.

VERDICT

The Tineco Floor One S9 Artist does a stellar job keeping your hard floors clean with minimal physical effort on your part. You’ll really impressed with the results and equally impressed that the unit can clean itself.
