If you’re right into your shooter computer games then the new Mag Wireless Magneton Controller will make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action.
The gun-shaped controller has two handles with controls placed within easy access near each one.
It has built-in motion sensors and a gyroscope so the device is also a motion controller that lets you control the direction you’re facing in a first person shooter game.
Compatible with the PlayStation 3 and the PC, it offers the full functionality of the console and computers’ official controllers.
There are also built-in vibration controls for added realism along with adjustable sensitivity settings to suit all types of shooting games and player styles.
Mag works with Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, Killzone 3, Crysis 3 and Medal of Honour.
It offers a whole new way to play games you might have mastered with a regular controller.
Tech Guide had a hands-on look at the device at the recent Consumer Electronics Show and took a few minutes to get used to the location and the sensitivity of the onboard sensors.
But it wasn’t long before we had the hang of the controllers and the movement response.
The Mag Wireless Magneton Induction Controller is priced at about $US150 and can be purchased from online stores and eBay.
