  • RATING
Pros
  • Outstanding light and thin design
  • Great value pricing
  • Excellent performance
  • Stunning OLED display
  • Really long battery life
Cons
  • No touchscreen

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is a triple threat laptop with excellent design, stunning performance and remarkable battery life. If you're in the market for Windows 11 Copilot+ PC laptop it will be hard to look past the ASUS Zenbook A14.

It’s finally here. The ASUS Zenbook A14 Copilot+ PC elegantly combines style and performance making it one of the most attractive Windows laptops you can buy right now.

We first laid eyes on the Zenbook A14 a couple of months ago at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and have been using it for the last month.

Our review model had 32GB RAM and 1TB of SSD (solid state drive) storage which happens to be the maximum configuration.

It is thin and light but that’s not its best design feature.

The Zenbook A14 is made from a material called Ceraluminium which makes it tough, durable and resistant to fingerprints.

It has a texture that feels more like stone than it does metal but it’s still smooth to the touch.

And this material also helps make the laptop so light at less than 1kg.

It weighs in at 980g to be precise and that makes it lighter than the new 13-inch MacBook Air with M4.

That means it’s easy to take it with you anywhere.

OK, so we know the Zenbook A14 is thin and light but don’t for one minute think that puts any compromise on its power and performance.

The laptop is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with the Hexagon NPU that offers up to 45 TOPS.

TOPS is short for trillions of operations per second which is essential to power the on-device AI computations that Copilot+ demands.

Another standout feature of the Zenbook A14 is the 14-inch OLED display.

It is gorgeous with a 4K 1920 x 1200 resolution that will make whatever you’re looking at pop whether it’s a website, an app, an image, a movie or a game.

One of the only downsides of the ASUS Zenbook A14 is the fact the OLED display is not a touchscreen. But that’s far from a dealbreaker

But it’s great knowing that you have this amazing screen which is there for you while you’re working but also available to offer a high-quality entertainment experience as well.

The good news is the high quality also extends to the audio with two Harman Kardon tuned speakers and two smart amplifiers.

They also offer Dolby Atmos to make the entire experience even more immersive whether you’re watching a movie or playing games.

The powerful Qualcomm processor offers plenty of room to move for a customer looking for a laptop that has their back to perform more demanding tasks and with AI literally at their fingertips with Copilot+.

Copilot+ has heralded a new era in laptops and can help users with their writing and proofreading along with tools to improve their productivity, efficiency and creativity.

There is also Live Captions, Co-creator in Paint, Generative Fill in Paint and Image Creator in Photos – and these are just some of the many features available.

But just looking at the specs of the ASUS Zenbook A14 will give customers peace of mind that it can not only run all of today’s AI features but tomorrow’s as well.

On the connectivity side, the Zenbook A14 has 2 USB-C ports which are Thunderbolt 4 compatible.

ASUS has also managed to fit a USB-A port and a full size HDMI port alongside an audio/microphone jack.

It’s also great to see ASUS has equipped the Zenbook A14 with Wi-Fi 7 so you can truly enjoy faster speeds when connecting to the latest Wi-Fi 7 routers and mesh systems.

An amazing by-product of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor’s speed, power and performance is its remarkable power efficiency.

As a result the Zenbook A14 delivers one of the best features a customer can ask for – a long battery life.

Amazingly, the laptop can run for up to 32 hours before you need to charge it.

For us we were able to complete two full workdays on the Zenbook A14 with enough juice to go into a third day if we really wanted to push it. We’ve never seen anything like it before.

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is available in two colours – pumice stone (beige) and light basalt (grey). Our review unit was the pumice stone.

Is available now and priced from $1,999 which is remarkable value considering the design, specs, power and performance you’re getting.

VERDICT

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is a triple threat laptop with excellent design, stunning performance and remarkable battery life. If you’re in the market for Windows 11 Copilot+ PC laptop it will be hard to look past the ASUS Zenbook A14.
