Samsung releases new Galaxy A Series of mid-tier smartphones starting at $499

Samsung has launched its latest range of Galaxy A series of smartphones – devices that offer a flagship experience for more customers at a more affordable price. The new line-up includes the Galaxy A31, the Galaxy A51, the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A71 5G.

All of these new Samsung smartphones are priced under $1000.

This new portfolio offers improved display, four lens camera systems and even larger batteries for an enhanced mobile experience.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The device has a quad camera system – 48-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel depth camera and 5-megapixel macro lens – so you can capture the widest panoramic shots and get right up close for your macro shots.

And on the front is a 20-megapixel front-facing camera to capture high quality selfies.

On the battery side, the A31 has a massive 5,000mAh battery which will keep users connected all day and night.

Security-wise, the device also includes an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The A51 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity O display so there is no notch – just a small hole punch for the 32-megapixel front facing camera.

The device is powered by an octa-core processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with a microSD card and dual SIM card slots.

The four camera system includes a 48-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel depth lens, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 5-megapixel macro lens.

It also has an in-screen fingerprint reader and a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

There a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity O display aboard the Samsung Galaxy A71 – the largest screen in the A Series family.

On the camera side, the four lens camera systems puts in your hand a 64-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel depth lens, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 5-megapixel macro lens.

Battery capacity is boosted to 4,500mAh and has even faster 25W Super-Fast charging.

This device is identical to the A71 in terms of screen size and camera system and design but it adds 5G connectivity to connect to the rapidly expanding faster 5G networks.

So users can easily stream 4K content and playing high-end games on the move.
