Meta has introduced Muse Spark – a powerful new update to Meta AI that will help users find answers, content, plan events and travel and explore new shopping modes across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and AI glasses.
The Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL) has rebuilt its AI stack from the ground up to unlock deeper reasoning and multimodal understanding.
The new model will be able to reason through complex questions in science, math and health.
Muse Spark can provide detailed health questions based on images and charts.
In fact, Meta has a team of physicians developing the model’s ability to respond to common health questions.
Health has become one of the main reasons users to AI.
It can also launch multiple subagents in parallel to fully answer your questions.
For example, you might be planning a family trip and you want to draft an itinerary that will include cultural sites, top-rated restaurants and kid-friendly activities.
Muse Spark can also handle visual coding so you can create custom websites and mini games directly from a text prompt.
Other new Muse Spark features will include a new shopping mode and the ability to draw responses with context surfaced across Instagram, Facebook and Threads.
Shopping mode can draw from what users see on Meta’s social media apps.
Muse Spark’s new features will be available in the US first with other regions including Australia following in the coming weeks.
These new features will be available through the Meta AI app and through Facebook, Instagram and Threads.
They will also be accessible soon through the Meta AI glasses.
