Fitbit has announced two new products – the Fitbit Versa, a modern smartwatch, and the Fitbit Ace, the company’s very first wearable that’s designed especially for kids.
The Fitbit Versa will be an Apple Watch competitor when it launches in April.
The device will be Fitbit’s lightest smartwatch with a sharp easy-to-read screen and changeable bands.
Fitbit Versa, which will be priced at $299.95, will have a four-day battery life along with 24/7 heart rate monitoring and the ability to upload music for phone-free listening.
It will also be able to provide personalised on-screen workouts that can coach you through each exercise.
Uses will also be able to track specific workouts in more than 15 different exercise modes whether you’re on the road or in the gym.
And, of course, Fitbit Versa will also be able to track your sleep and relay notifications from your smartphone as well.
The Fitbit Ace is an activity tracker designed just for kids aged eight and older.
The product has been designed to make fitness fun for kids and to build healthy habits with their family.
It has a small display so the user can track their steps and calories burned and also have the choice of 10 fun clock face designs.
And, like other Fitbit products, Fitbit Ace can track sleep and also give you reminders to move every hour and stay active all day.
Parents will be able to set up a family account as well as an account for their child and see all their activity and progress.
Kids can also take part in challenges and compete with their friends to get the most steps per day.
The Fitbit ACE will be priced at $129.95 and will be available in the second quarter of 2018.
