The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has an incredible hidden feature that all of your friends will love – the device can be used to charge other smartphones when they are low on power.
Huawei set up a courtesy charging station at Bondi Beach where beachgoers were invited to charge their devices.
The video shows people connecting iPhones and Android devices to charge and complaining about their battery life.
After a few moments, the power source of the charging station was revealed – it was the Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
And to say they were impressed is an understatement.
This feature is not in the settings, so don’t bother looking for.

But when connected to another device with a cable, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro gives you the option of either sharing data or charging the other device.
This works with any other smartphone whether it is an Android device or an iPhone.
All you need is the correct cable.
We tried it ourselves with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S9 which we connected with the USB-C to USB-C cable.
And sure enough, we were able to transform the Huawei Mate 10 Pro into a battery pack for the Galaxy S9.
We also did the same thing with the USB-C to Lightning cable and charged the iPhone X.
You can just imagine the benefits of this feature, especially if some of your friends are running low on power.
As long as you have a cable you can turn the Mate 10 Pro into a battery pack for them.
