DJI has launched the Osmo 360 II – its latest version the 360-degree camera to enable stunning creative and panoramic shooting.
Powered by the next gen technology and DJI’s handheld imaging expertise gained over 12 years, the DJI Osmo 360 II has evolved to include improved distortion control from its drones and stabilisation from its Ronin series of gimbals.
The Osmo 360 II has an advanced square HDR sensor which uses 25 per cent more of the sensor area and reduced power consumption.
The result is clear and clean footage day and night.
It can capture 8K/60fps with an improved dynamic range of 14.5 stops which doubles the brightness range.
The new AI noise reduction algorithm, AI SuperNight 2.0 technology also makes the Osmo 360 II punch well above its weight even in low light conditions.
The new Osmo 360 II also has an ultra-hard replaceable lens and 105GB of internal storage.
The beauty of a 360-degree camera is the ability to capture all angles at once.
Here are some examples of scenarios and angles possible with the Osmo 360 II:
– Motorcycling: The camera can be securely mounted anywhere for unique multi-angle shots. With Gesture Control and Voice Control, creators can start recording instantly without releasing the throttle.
– Diving: The camera is ready for underwater action up to 10 metres1 out of the box. For deep dives, creators can seal it inside the Invisible Waterproof Case and explore down to 50 m1.
– Skiing: The camera can be used in -20° C temperatures and will start shooting by double twisting the selfie stick. Creators can unlock aerial views with the 2.5m Extended Carbon Fibre Selfie Stick and add Motion Blur for a more cinematic run.
– Mountain Biking / Road Cycling: The camera’s powerful stabilisation can smooth out the rough trails. Creators can add the Sports Dashboard overlay to create engaging data-rich cycling videos.
– Vlogging: The camera can be used for solo selfie videos with the Invisible Selfie Stick serving as an on-the-go camera crew. Paired with Dual Recording, creators can capture passing scenery and multiple people in a single frame to make their stories even more immersive.

– 10-bit & D-Log M1 Colour Profile: Every video format now supports 10-bit colour depth, capturing over a billion colours.
Spotlight Follow in the upgraded DJI Mimo app provides intelligent subject-tracking and framing so the subject is always in the centre of the frame.
The camera now NFC so connecting to the DJI Mimo app is as simple as a single tap.
The onboard battery can continuously record 100 minutes at 8K/30fps and fast charge back to 80 per cent in just 22 minutes.
The Osmo 360 II has its own four-mic array with noise reduction but bsers can seamlessly integrate other DJI mics like the DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic 2, DJI Mic Mini 2S, DJI Mic Mini 2, and DJI Mic Mini.

The Osmo 360 II will go on sale in late September.
