Nanoleaf Lines offer an all-new smart lighting solution with LED light bars

Nanoleaf has added yet another product to its impressive line-up of smart lighting – it’s the new Nanoleaf Lines – smart backlit LED light bars in a never-before-seen modular form factor.

And just like the other Nanoleaf shapes and light panels, the Nanoleaf lines allow users to design their very own lighting patterns.

These lightweight lines connect at 60-degree angle increments to allow you to create stunning layouts, geometric shapes and ceiling designs with mounting plates integrated with every Lines mounting connector.

Every Line features dual colour zones so you can display two colours at once while the diffused lighting technology allows you to blend different hues for amazing colour mixing.

And while that’s happening, the backlit glow also casts an immersive RGBW design on your walls as well.

Users can select from dynamic lighting scenes including Neon Dreams and Kaleidoscope so you can create a whole new mood for the room whether you’re watching a movie, gaming, listening to your favourite playlist or just relaxing.

There are 19 pre-set scenes including seven Rhythm Scenes with music visualisation technology so your lights can move to the beat of your music.

You can sync your favourite songs in real time to create amazing colour visualisations as the dual zones on each bar dance along to the beat.

There are 22 Rhythm Motion options to choose from which are engineered to suit different genres of music to complement everything from bass heavy beats to soft melodies.

There are also thousands of new scenes in the Nanoleaf app to explore or you can create and upload your own using the intuitive scene creator which allows for more than 16 million colour options.

Lines can also transform your movie and gaming experience with the new Screen Mirror feature which syncs with on-screen colours and animations and sends them to your lighting setup.

It’s possible to customise the experience with four different modes including Match Mode for added immersion or Palette Mode for a more subtle transition of colours.

Nanoleaf Lines also widens the Thread ecosystem so it can act as a router for the Nanoleaf Essentials line of bulbs and light strips, so they are easier to connect and control for both iOS and Android users.

Lines can be controlled over wi-fi through the Nanoleaf app and with voice commands.

They are also compatible with Apple Homekit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and IFTTT integrations.

Also available are Lines Skins which give you further design customization options so you can instantly change the style of your layout with snap-on face plates. The skins will come in black and pink.

Nanoleaf Lines are available to pre-order now through the Nanoleaf online store, JB Hi-Fi and Amazon.

The range will consist of a 15-pack starter kit priced at $539.99, a 9-pack starter kit priced at $349.99 and three pack expansion kits for $119.99.
