Uniden launches Australia’s first wire-free pan and tilt home security camera

Uniden has launched three new models of its home security camera range which includes the Guardian App Cam Solo PT – Australia’s first completely wire-free rechargeable home security camera that can pan and tilt.

Also added to the line-up is the App Cam Solo Bullet and the App Cam Floodlight.

The Uniden Guardian App Cam Solo PT is fully weatherproof, offers full high definition resolution and an ultrawide viewing angle on top of its 355-degree pan and 140-degree tilt.

The camera can be controlled remotely through the Uniden app so users can keep an eye on a larger area.

Now you can use one camera to monitor the front and side of the house which would normally require two cameras to cover the same area.

The Uniden Guardian App Cam Solo PT also comes with a solar panel which can be positioned for optimal sunlight exposure and provide non-stop power to the camera during daylight hours.

This means the customer does not need to recharge the on-board battery and allow footage to be recorded continually.

And of course the App Cam Solo PT can also provide notifications and customise voice alerts which will broadcast when motion is detected.

Also on board is Uniden’s Thermo Sense technology which can detect body heat and movement to minimise false and annoying alerts.

It also has advanced Starlight Night Vision for even clearer footage in darkness.

Also included is two-way talk functionality so you can communicate with anybody in range of the camera.

Captured footage can be stored either directly to the on-board SD card or to the Uniden Cloud so important moments are at your fingertips to replay when required.

Customers will receive seven days of free cloud backup with the option of upgrading to a higher plan.

The App Cam Solo Bullet is another new Uniden surveillance camera which offers wire-free full high definition coverage in a traditional camera design.

App Cam Solo Bullet

The Solo Bullet incorporates all the features of the Solo+ camera range with a voice control and it included solar panel for continuous power supply.

The Uniden App Cam Floodlight is a powered weatherproof camera and floodlight in one with full high definition video and a bright 2,500 lumens light source.

The light can be dimmed through the Uniden companion app to suit the surroundings.

App Cam Floodlight

It has a 135-degree viewing angle and night vision with a viewing distance of up to 10m and up to 30m when the floodlight is activated.

Users can remotely access footage from the camera from anywhere via its wi-fi connection.

And with Thermo Sense onboard, the user will receive alerts when both heat and movement are detected.

The Uniden Guardian App Cam Solo PT, App Cam Solo Bullet and App Cam Floodlight will be available in January 2020. Pricing has yet to be announced.
