The Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV is an amazing TV that provides a stunning home entertainment experience. But it is aspirational product that might not be within reach for every customer today but stands a glimpse of what we can look forward to will be at the core of Samsung’s future TVs.
We love a big TV and Samsung has just released the 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV which packs in all the company’s TV technologies and turns them up to the max.
First up the size of the TV is quite imposing – it looks so much bigger than a 100-inch TV – we’re in an entirely new realm.
And secondly it should be noted early this TV has a price tag of $26,999.
Now that might be within reach of only a few customers now but down the track it will be a lot more affordable and accessible.

Just think that the Samsung 98-inch 8K TV released in 2019 – the biggest in Australia at the time – was priced at $99,999.
So comparatively the Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV – even though it’s 4K not 8K – is a bargain.
This is the fourth TV to join Samsung’s super-size line-up and – if the current trend towards larger screens continue – there will be more demand for TVs at this massive size.
Tech Guide sat down with Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV.
Design-wise the TV has a slick minimal look with thin bezels and adjustable legs that can be positioned wide or closer together so it can fit on your entertainment unit.
Samsung says customers who purchase the TV will be offered free delivery and a site inspection to ensure there’s enough room for the TV and to check things like if it will fit into a lift for those living in apartments.
A viewing distance of 3m is also recommended but you can get away with sitting 2.5m away.
It is a huge screen but for Samsing it wasn’t just a matter of stretching the 4K picture out to this larger size.
What does the heavy lifting here is the AI-powered processor – the NQ8 AI Gen 3 – which employs 768 neural networks which upscales and enhances the image in real time.
Vision AI also comes in to play when watching movies and sport and allows viewers to personalise and adapts to your preferences.
Or you can let Vision AI take over and do its thing – that’s what we did on the 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV – and the result was nothing short of stunning.
There are 12 times more neural networks than the QLED QN900C to drive Samsung’s Supersize Picture Enhancer which removes noise, upscales the image and enhances the sharpness so that even though you’re watching a 115-inch image it is still razor sharp.
The image processing is next level and what you get are stunning natural colours and deep, deep blacks.
The Mini LED backlights, which are the size of a grain of sand, allowed the TV to create hyper accurate colour, contrast and light control.
We watched a few movies and TV shows and some sports and, in every scenario, the 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV delivered admirably.
The AI Motion Enhancer Pro also smoothed out sports viewing – we were watching the LA Dodger and Toronto Blue Jays World Series baseball game and it felt like we were there.
Even watching fast paced films like Top Gun and Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith was a delight with a smooth and sharp picture that had virtually no blur or juddering.
Also onboard is Auto HDR Remastering Pro and Real Depth Enhancer Pro so you don’t miss a single detail on the huge screen.
There’s also an Active Voice Amplifier that makes the dialogue even clearer and makes easier to hear over the other sounds in the scene.
If you’re a gamer, the Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV will also over deliver.
For a start, that huge screen makes the experience even more immersive and it’s a smooth ride thanks to the four HDMI inputs supporting HDMI 2.1 so games can run at up to 144Hz Virtual Refresh Rate (VRR).
Games are crisp and smooth while FreeSync Premium Pro produces amazing High Dynamic Range (HDR).
But one of the best features for us was the Glare Free technology.
The 115-inch screen is a large target for reflections and glare and we could not see a thing.
Even with the TV off – regular TVs turn into a mirror and you can often see a window or light being reflected on the screen.
For our review, the Samsung 115-inch TV was in a bright room with lights right above it and opposite but there was no sign of anything on the screen.
This is already available on Samsung’s TV and something that Australian customers value considering that we place our TVs in bright open plan living spaces.
Even though it has a 115-inch TV, the Glare Free technology means light is not going to touch it.
Now the viewing experience of the Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV is remarkable.
What we expected to be better was the audio quality.
For our review, the TV was hooked up to an excellent Samsung soundbar – the latest Q Series HW-Q990F which has 11.1.4 channels.
And it sounded incredible.
But the speakers on the TV when we directed audio through it really let the experience down.
There’s enough size to have proper left and right separation but Object Tracking Sound was good not great.
Same thing for the Dolby Atmos that’s aboard the TV as well but it couldn’t do it better than the $2,000 soundbar that was connected to it.
If I was paying $26,999 for a TV I would hope there would be nothing else that would be needed to provide a stunning audio visual experience.
The Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV has the same One IU Tizen as the rest of the Samsung TV range and puts all your favourite streaming services and content suggestions front and centre.
There are also seven years of updates so you’ll always have the latest version for most of the life of the TV.
The Samsung 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F 4K Smart TV is available now and is priced at $26,999.
