Foxtel has just revealed the Foxtel Now box – a device that makes it easier to stream your favourite programs and sport from service on the best screen in the house – the TV in your lounge room.
The Foxtel Now box is a compact product that can be connected to your TV to stream Foxtel Now content including live or on demand programming in high definition.
The unit also has a built-in tuner so you can watch all your free to air channels through the box as well.
Customers with a Foxtel Now subscription can already enjoy the world’s biggest news shows, live sports and complete seasons of some of the most popular TV shows including Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Shameless as well as programs from HBO, Disney and the BBC.
The Foxtel Now box is easy to connect and also provides access to free to air streaming apps including ABC iView, Plus7 and Tenplay.
Also included on the Foxtel Now box is access to popular subscription video on demand service Stan.
Users will also enjoy Chromecast functionality on the device which makes it possible for viewers to stream content like movies, photos and music directly from their Android, iOS device, PC or Mac are straight to their TV.
Now users can access even more content through the Google Play store and “cast” it to their television.
The Foxtel Now streaming service is the cheapest way to sign up to Foxtel from as little as $15 a month.
Customers can add packs including Drama and Pop for an additional $15 a month each or $25 for both.
Lifestyle, Docs and Kids packs are priced at $10 a month with Movies ($20) and Sport ($29) also available.

The Foxtel Now box will be priced at $99 and goes on sale on Friday, November 10 at www.foxtelnow.com.au and from Foxtel’s eBay store as well as selected retailers in the near future.
