Shokz had unveiled two new open ear headphones with a new ear-clip design which offer all-day comfort and impressive audio quality.
The two news models are the OpenDots ONE and OpenFit 2+ with both offering the stylish clip-on design while still being able to stay aware of your surroundings.
SHOKZ OPENDOTS ONE – $339
The Shokz OpenDots ONE are lightweight and compact so they can be comfortably worn all day and anywhere thanks to the IP54 water resistance.
What adds to the featherweight design – each weighs just 6.5g – is the Shokz JointArc technology which connects the speaker and battery compartment.
But despite their small size the Shokz headphones support Bassphere technology which includes two 11.8mm drivers – the equivalent of one 16mm driver – and the result is a satisfying deep bass with clear and crisp highs.
Also onboard is Dolby Audio optimisation.
The Shokz OpenDots ONE offers up to 10 hours of play time with another 40 hours in the case.
Available in black and grey on July 3 from shokz.com.au, Amazon and JB Hi-Fi. Available from Harvey Norman from July 31.
SHOKZ OPENFIT 2+ – $339
The Shokz Openfit 2+ have a bold design and upgraded audio technology and include two drivers instead of one and Dolby enhancement.
The headphones include earclips so they sit securely and comfortably.
Users can also take control of their music through the new physical buttons.
The OpenFit 2+ includes DualBoost technology with two individual speakers combining to deliver extra-large low frequency for thumping bass and crystal clear highs which comes together to form a dynamic sound.
The OpenFit 2+ has 11 hours of play time and up to 48 hours with the charging case.
They also have a quick charge feature where you can get two hours of listening time with just a 10-minute charge.
