LG’s 77-inch Signature OLED T – the world’s first transparent 4K OLED TV – has finally arrived in Australia and is available for a cool $74,999.

The transparent TV pushes the OLED technology to its limits with a transparent self-lit screen the connects to your sources wirelessly giving users the freedom to reimagine their living space.

In transparent mode, uses can look straight through the television while still viewing the content that appears to be floating in mid-air.

And despite its large 77-inch size, the Signature OLED T still creates a sense of openness.

It can even be positioned in front of a window without disrupting the view.

“With the LG OLED T, we are showcasing the pinnacle of LG innovation, a powerful testament to our commitment to delivering new and better screen solutions in the home,” says Tony Brown, General Manager, Home Entertainment Marketing and Content Business at LG Electronics Australia.

“Embodying our focus on smart life solutions, it’s innovation that genuinely enhances the everyday, making life good by redefining how technology integrates beautifully into the Australian home.”

The LG OLED T incorporates the proprietary Zero Connect box which provides lossless wireless video and audio transmission at 4K up to 120Hz and all free of cable clutter.

The TV also allows users to switch between transparent and opaque modes which gives them flexibility to integrate the technology within their home.

There are also a number of lifestyle features which turn the TV into an always on digital canvas to showcase art, display photos or video in stunning colour.

The T-Bar also provides handy information on the bottom edge of the screen including weather forecasts, sports scores, now playing music and other information.

The TV is also certified NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium compatible which makes it a more than capable gaming venue.

The LG Signature OLED T is available now and is priced at $74,999.
