After 20 years as the number one TV brand in the world, Samsung has raised the bar and revealed an impressive 130-inch micro RGB TV that takes both size and picture quality to the next level.
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas the company unveiled a stunning range of TVs and other smart devices, appliances and audio products that are all linked in our homes with AI.
But the jewel in the crown is the remarkable 130-inch micro RGB which heralds a new era of even more intense and accurate colour.
It has a frameless design so the massive picture goes edge to edge and takes centre stage in your home.
At the heart of the TV is the micro sized RGB light source which, unlike a regular backlight, includes tiny red, green and blue diodes to produce colour in its purest form.
Also under the hood is the micro RGB AI engine pro which offers precision control of RGB colours and create vivid picture quality.
It can also achieve 100 per cent of the BT.2020 wide colour gamut.
Samsung’s micro RGB technology will also feature in the new flagship range of TVs which will range in sizes including 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, 100-inch and 115-inch.
The TVs will also include Samsung’s impressive glare free technology to minimise reflections and distractions in our large open living areas.
Samsung will also release a new line-up of Neo QLED, OLED and UHD TVs in Australia in 2026.
Also on board the TV’s is Samsung’s Vision AI Companion which uses AI to not only enhance the image and audio quality but also as a tool to help you find out more about what you’re watching and recommendations for similar content.
Samsung also revealed the upgraded portable projector, the freestyle plus, which allows users to view content on walls and ceilings.
The beauty of the freestyle plus is that it can be aimed anywhere and it will automatically square off and keystone the image and even avoid obstacles to provide the best viewing opportunity as well as handling textured walls another uneven surfaces using AI.
“With leading innovation and scale spanning TVs, audio, home appliances, mobile experiences, and services, Samsung is uniquely positioned to deliver trusted, reliable, and cutting-edge, AI-powered products that adapt to your routines and support everyday life in subtle, meaningful ways,” says Simon Howe – director – AV, Samsung Australia.
“Through optimised form factors and ongoing partnerships, Samsung has transformed products into companions, providing personalised, natural ways to interact with devices to meet your needs easily.”
