LG has launched the UltraFine evo 6K – the world’s first 6K resolution monitor with Thunderbolt 5 connectivity – which has been designed for professional video editors, graphic designers and anyone who demands high performance in their workflow.
The 32-inch monitor has super sharp 6K resolution (6144 x 3456) and offers stunning colour accuracy and high speed connectivity.
The 32U990A is the first 6K display with Thunderbolt 5 support.
“The creative industry in Australia is constantly pushing boundaries, and professionals require tools that can keep pace with their innovative demands,” said Poh Koh, Marketing Manager for IT at LG Electronics Australia.
“At LG, our commitment to innovation is driven by our purpose of creating smart life solutions that enrich lives and empower people to achieve more.
“The LG UltraFine evo 6K monitor perfectly embodies this vision, offering Australian creators a truly future-proofed display.
“It redefines their workflow, enabling them to work smarter, faster, and with greater creative freedom, for a more productive and rewarding experience.”
Having such high resolution, the 32U990A has remarkable image fidelity and text clarity.
The 32-inch 6K hiDPI display has a pixel density of 224PPI which provides sharper and cleaner text and precise visuals.
The monitor is also factory calibrated for optimal performance with macOS devices and covers 98 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space and 99 per cent of Adobe RGB so you’re getting faithful image reproduction for video and image editing.
Also onboard is a dedicated Studio Mode which has three colour preset options for Mac computers.
And with Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, it supports up to 120Gbps unidirectional bandwidth and up to 3x the display bandwidth of Thunderbolt and up to 2x faster for data transfer.
The LG monitor can also support real time 4K rendering and rapid transfer of 8K RAW video files which makes it an ideal partner for AI powered video editing and upscaling workflows.
With the 6K resolution of the 32U990A, you’re getting 2.56 times more pixels than a UHD 4K monitor.
The monitor also works as a professional hub with built in KVM switching and multi-port connectivity so it can be operated seamlessly on Mac and Windows systems.
The LG UltraFine evo 6K monitor (32U990A) is available now at LG.com/au and is priced at $3,399.
