Logitech has released new mechanical keyboards and advanced mouse for creators

For those who want a little more action and feel with their typing, Logitech has launched two new mechanical keyboards – the full-size MX Mechanical and the MX Mechanical Mini.

Logitech has also unveiled the MX Master 3S mouse.

The MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini have the latest low profile mechanical switches but also have a key switch to make it Logitech’s quietest mechanical keyboard ever while still offering the same tactile look and feel.

The keyboards have dual-coloured keycaps so you can easily distinguish between the keys even at an angle as well as smart backlighting and your choice of six backlight colours.

The Logitech keyboards will also automatically adjust their brightness depending on the ambient light.

It is also smart enough to switch off the backlight to conserve energy when it’s getting low on battery.

“There is a growing community of software developers who fell in love with mechanical keyboards when they started playing games, and now they want the same feeling of precision and control with their professional desktop keyboard,” said Tolya Polyanker, head of the MX Series for Creativity and Productivity at Logitech.

“MX Mechanical combines the best of both – Logitech’s gaming keyboard expertise with MX Master Series signature experiences.”

The MX Master 3S mouse is ergonomically shaped for comfortable use and an 8,000dpi optical sensor so it can work on all surfaces including glass and offers the faster workflow supported by high resolution monitors.

And it’s also quieter. Logitech says the clicks are also 90 per cent quieter as a matter of fact.

Also onboard is the MagSpeed Electromagnetic wheel which can manage spinning through 1000 lines in a second while the side scroll wheel offers faster horizontal navigation.

All these new Logi products connect via Bluetooth using the Logi Bolt wireless technology for a secure and reliable connection.

The Logitech MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini will be priced at $269.95 and $229.95 respectively. The Logitech MX Master 3S is $169.95. They will go on sale in July.
