Navman launches latest dash cam range to be your eyes and ears on the road

Navman has released its latest range of dash cam models so they can be your eyes and ears on the road.

The company, Australia’s leading manufacturer of dash cams, says driving without a dash cam is like driving without a seat belt or a spare tyre.

And in the unlikely event of an incident, you’ll be glad you have one. It gives drivers peace of mind.

The new models include the MiVUE 770 Safety, the MiVUE 900 DC and the MiVUE 1200 Sensor XL DC.

The range now includes a Dash Cam for all types of vehicles including trucks and motorcycles as well as mounts to suit all types of cars and drivers.

And when it is time to access footage, it is easy to retrieve and share it instantly.

MIVUE 770 SAFETY – $229

This device has a 2.7-inch LCD screen and a range of features including alerts for speed and red light cameras, school zones and accident black spots.

The MiVue 770 Safety records in full high definition 1080P and recordings include your precise GPS location, speed and the direction of impact.

And it’s easy to share your footage via wi-fi to your smartphone.

It’s also possible to set ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) alerts to warn you if you are encroaching into another lane.

With the price of petrol going through the roof, the Navman device can help you save money with the Eco Drive feature which can measure the fuel efficiency of your driving.

MIVUE 900 DC – $299

There is a front and rear camera with the MiVUE 900 DC – which is helpful because most road accidents are nose to tail.

It can record front and back in full high definition at 30 frames per second.

The front camera includes a Premium Starvis Ultra Low Light Sensor which still provides clear and crisp video even when driving through dark streets or in car parks.

With the addition of the Smart Box accessory ($79) you can also enjoy parking mode which records any motion or impact even when your vehicle is parked and the engine is switched off.

MIVUE 1200 SENSOR XL DC – $479

This is a dual camera dash cam so you have eyes on the front and rear.

The front camera also includes the biggest sensor on the market which allows more light into the camera for clear high-definition video at 60 frames per second.

At that frame rate it can smoothly film fast moving objects.

The rear camera also includes a Premium Starvis sensor.

For an added layer of protection, the MiVUE 1200 Sensor XL DC records on two channels and comes with a 32GB endurance micro SD card.

Of course, there are also safety and speed alerts and even a reminder to turn on your headlights.

The new Navman Dash Cam range will be available in stores in early April.
