Huawei today launched its latest Watch GT 2 Pro smartwatch which offers a rugged new design, advanced sports tracking, pro-level health monitoring and a two week battery life.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro has a round face covered in tough sapphire glass and a frame made from titanium so it offers the durability a customer will appreciate when used in the great outdoors.

The rear of the casing is made from smooth ceramic so it’s comfortable to wear.

There are more than 200 watch faces to choose from along lots of customisation options.

It’s also possible to choose different layouts showing things like the phases of the moon and constellations and tidal times to help you master the elements as you explore the outdoors.

You can also tap the watch to your smartphone to transfer images from your photo galley to the watch.

“Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is the most ambitious representative of the Watch GT series,” says Larking Huang, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group in Australia.

“Every aspect of the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro was designed and programmed with the highest level of care.

“The highly advanced health modes enable users to track their heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep quality and stress levels.

“Australians can feel assured that the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is the best smartwatch for the job.”

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is ideal for those looking to get into a new sport or improve and maintain their health and fitness levels.

There are more than 100 workouts onboard along with new sports modes that now include skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding and golf driving range.

Ski mode looks at your average speed, distance, trajectory, cumulative descent and maximum slope along with heart rate and blood oxygen saturation.

At the driving range the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro can analyse your swing tempo and speed also even provide visual swing demonstrations on the watch face.

The watch can also cater for other extreme sports, leisure activities, water sports, ball games and snow sports.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro also comes pre-installed with more than 10 running courses with a guided services to keep you motivated.

Onboard is the Huawei TruSeen 4.0+ heart rate monitoring technology which uses a 6-in-1 LED lens and sapphire glass back to provide higher accuracy readings.

The watch supports real-time heart rate monitoring to keep track of your run, walk or swim and can also provide alerts for abnormally high or low heart rates.

It can also track your sleep and provide all-day stress monitoring.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is available now and is priced at $499. Customers who purchase the watch before February 21 will also receive a bonus Huawei smart scale valued at $79.
