Adobe continues to lead with its impressive creativity tools with the introduction of Firefly’s new smartphone app which offers the ability to generate and edit images and videos on the move using AI.
The Adobe Firefly app, available for both iOS and Android, can be used as a standalone product but also synced with Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications to extend your creative workflows.
Users can generate assets across different media types and explore different AI models to suit their work.
Users can maintain the look and style of their content with Style Reference and Structure Reference.
With Generative Expand, it’s possible for users to expand existing images and remove unwanted objects or inserting new ones with Generative Remove and Generative Expand respectively.
“Creators continue to impress us with the breadth and artistry of the images, videos, graphics and designs they’re dreaming up in the Firefly app using models from both Adobe and our partners,” said Ely Greenfield, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.
“Our goal with Firefly is to deliver creators the most comprehensive destination on web and mobile to access the best generative models from across the industry, in a single integrated experience from ideation to generation and editing.”
The Firefly mobile app can generate images and videos using just text prompts as well as transform images into videos and add or remove unwanted objects.
Content created with the Firefly app is automatically synced with the user’s Creative Cloud account, if they have one, which means they can start a project on the app and continue on the web or on a desktop using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
The Adobe Firefly app is available now on the App Store and Google Play Store as a free download but it does feature in-app purchases.
Creative Cloud Pro account users can access and download the Firefly web and mobile apps as part of their plan.
