Swann, already a well-known brand when it comes to security, has just unveiled its new wire-free Smart Security Camera to make it even easier to keep an eye on your home from anywhere.
The Swann wire-free Smart Security Camera provides full high definition 1080p video so it can easily capture things like faces and car number plates.
It also has a wide 120-degree viewing angle and night vision so you’re not going to miss a thing day or night
The Swann camera is fully weatherproof with an IP65 rating which means it can be used inside and outside.
The cameras are powered by a rechargeable battery and can be positioned without having to drill any holes.
Customers will find the Swann wire-free Smart Security Camera is easy to set-up and uses Swann’s TrueDetect technology to sense movement.
TrueDetect uses heat-based PIR (passive infrared) motion technology to distinguish the heat of larger objects like trees and cars and can also tell the difference between pets and people so you won’t get flooded with false movement notifications.
Any movement or event is recorded in full HD and stored locally on the camera’s memory card as well as to a secure cloud storage location.
The device pairs with the Swann SAFE app (free on iOS and Android) that allows the home or business owner to adjust the settings and choose to receive notifications and to monitor the cameras in real time.

The Swann wire-free Smart Security Camera will be available from November from Bunnings Warehouse, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks and other authorised retailers.
It will be priced at $269 for a single camera, $499 for a twin pack, $739 for three cameras and $969 for four cameras.
