Samsung reveals pricing of its new MU Series of smart 4K UHD TVs

Samsung Electronics has just launched its new MU Series of 4K ultra-high definition televisions designed to meet the needs of Australian households and in a variety of screen sizes.

These televisions sit behind the flagship QLED models but still offer premium picture quality, high dynamic range (HDR), 200Hz motion refresh rate, smart connectivity and stylish design.

“Samsung strives to deliver the best possible premium TV experience and we are doing this by giving more people access to the latest in Samsung panel innovation, features, and design with the MU Series.” said Carl Rose, Vice President, Consumer Electronics, Samsung Electronics Australia.

Samsung’s research reveals that 38 per cent of Australians are looking for larger TV screens with the majority of customers (63 per cent) now looking for a screen larger than 55 inches.

Within the MU Series, screen sizes range in size from 55-inch all the way up to 82-inch.

The entire range includes Samsung’s One Remote Control which allows users to control multiple compatible devices including gaming consoles, set-top boxes, 4K Blu-ray players and more with a single control.

Also on board is the Samsung TV Smart Hub which makes it easy to navigate and access services including Netflix, Stan and YouTube.

The TVs also have a cable management system, as seen with the new QLED range, so customers can manage the cable clutter from the TV and other sources.

The MU Series include Samsung’s latest panel technology that offers impressive 4K picture quality.

The TVs also have Smart Auto Detection which makes it easy to tell which device is plugged into a HDMI port.

Devices linked with HDMI are automatically identified and labelled so it’s easy to identify and connect to the right source.

There is also Samsung’s Smart View app which also gives you control of the TV from your smartphone.

Samsung’s new series of televisions are available to purchase from today.

Here are the prices and features you will find with each model.
