Navman releases first three-camera dash cam that covers the front, rear and each side of your vehicle

Navman has unveiled its 2025 range of dash cams which includes the first ever three camera system – the MiVue True 4K PRO Surround – which can cover the front, back and sides of your vehicle.

The new Navman range also incorporates the MiVue True 4K and MiVue True 4K DC, the MiVue 270 Safety and the MiVue Rider DC Helmet Camera for motorcyclists.

The Navman MiVue True 4K PRO Surround

The Navman MiVue True 4K PRO Surround ($529) offers a complete picture when you’re driving with front and rear coverage and now with a view of each side of your vehicle.

The cameras are housed in two physical units – one up front with the camera pointing forward and the rear module with two lenses – one pointing behind the car and the other looking inwards to see not only the interior of the vehicle but also each side.

The front camera offers 4K Ultra HD recording through its 8-megapixel sensor which can capture important detail like signs, registration plates and faces.

The rear and interior facing cameras each have a 170-degree field of view which takes in what’s happening out of the side windows.

And with the addition of a SmartBox ($59 plus installation), the MiVue True 4K PRO Surround can also offer the same level of monitoring when you are parked.

The MiVue True 4K PRO Surround also has other safety features including lane departure warnings and front and re collision warnings.

It also comes with a 128GB micro SD card.

Navman is also offering 4K with the MiVue True 4K ($279) and MiVue True 4K DC ($349) which provides 4K footage at 30fps thanks to the Starvis 8-megapixel sensor.

These dash cams come with a 64GB micro SD card.

In 4K drivers will be able to pick up even more detail even if it is in low light and at night.

All the Navman dash cams have a three-axis G-sensor which can record precise impact details and tag it with information including the GPS location and speed.

Insurance companies and authorities will now be able to receive a complete and irrefutable video of what happened on the road.

All the new Navman devices are designed to work reliably even in hot temperatures and can share footage over Wi-Fi to your smartphone for easier sharing.

Navman’s entry level model – the MiVue 270 Safety ($179) – is also packed with features in a single affordable unit including true 2.5K Quad HD recording at 30fps and a 140-degree wide-angle lens to ensure every critical detail is captured in high quality day and night.

MiVue 270 Safety

The MiVue 270 Safety also includes forward collision warnings, lane departure alerts and even driver fatigue monitoring if you’ve been driving for more than two hours.

Navman has also released a dash cam designed for motorcycle riders – the Rider DC Helmet Camera – which mounts to your helmet.

The onboard battery offers 4.5 hours of recording and is IP67 rated so will still work in the rain.

It records in 2.5K Quad HD at 30fps but can also be dropped down to 1080p Full HD to record higher speeds AT 60fps.

Navman says this is an important product for motorcyclists and scooter riders who are less visible and often blamed unfairly in accidents.

This product will allow them to offer irrefutable evidence of exactly what happened on the road.

The Navman MiVue dash cam range is now available from leading retailers online at www.navman.com.au.
