New Tile Pro and Mate make finding your items easier and smarter

For years Tile has helped people locate their personal items or be reminded if they’ve left something behind. Now the company has introduced two new models – the Tile Mate and Tile Pro.

These new devices have a longer range, replaceable batteries and are also much louder.

A Tile can be attached to anything including a bag, keyring, placed inside a wallet or your car, on your bike, in a backpack, in your luggage, on an umbrella or even your pet.

The Tile Pro ($59.95) is 41.6mm wide and 6.5mm thick and has Bluetooth on board so it can link with your smartphone. Tile Mate ($39.95) is 34.7mm wide and 6.2mm thick.

When connected you can do things like ring the Tile from your phone to locate it nearby or see its last known location on a map.

And if you can’t find your phone but have your Tile handy you can make your phone ring even when it’s on silent.

“At Tile, were constantly seeking to improve the performance and experience of using our products,” said CJ Prober, Tile CEO.

“Listening to our customers plays a huge role in our development process and we have consistently received one request: the desire for a replacement battery.

“With the new Mate and Pro, were excited to introduce our first ever replaceable battery model and our best performing Tiles ever.”

The batteries aboard these new Tiles are guaranteed to last a year despite the product having a louder volume and increased Bluetooth range.

The Title Mate has a Bluetooth range of 150 feet while the Pro has a Bluetooth range of 300 feet.

Tile also has smart home integration so customers can use Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant to find their items just by asking for them.

Tile has also started The Premium – a service of offerings which include free battery replacements, smart alerts if you leave your house without your Tiled items, a 30 day location history plus an extended three-year warranty and premium customer care.

The Premium is available for $39.99 annually or $3.99 monthly. Users can also sign up for a free one month trial.

The service applies across all the active Tiles in the user’s account including partner products with Tile capabilities.

Tile Mate and Tile Pro are available now from major retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Officeworks.
