HP has revealed its new HP Spectre and HP Envy laptops which are built to enhance our creativity while providing a powerful solution to suit our flexible working conditions.

HP researchers revealed 89 per cent of Australians agree hybrid working improves employment, wellbeing and their work life balance while three in five agree hybrid working creates more opportunities to focus on health and wellbeing and frees up time to pursue their passions.

“Creators aren’t just limited to professional photographers, designers, composers, and editors – everyone is a creator, collaborating with friends, family, and colleagues and creating from home, work, and all the places in between,” said Ken Maher, Senior Director of Personal Systems, HP ANZ.

“Today’s hybrid world requires a new perspective on what to create with, which is why HP is launching a diverse set of devices across its Spectre and Envy portfolios to enable creation without limitation.”

The new HP laptops offer impressive video and audio call quality thanks to the 5-megapixel IR Intelligent camera which can centre you in the frame.

It also has a backlight adjustment to autocorrect images in any environment where you may be taking a call and can cut out background noise through its directional beamforming microphones.

The onboard quad speakers also provide superb sound for your video and audio calls.

The HP Spectre 16 x360 even has AI-based privacy alerts in case you’re working in public spaces and can blur the screen when someone is behind you.

Some laptops in the range have 4K OLED displays and 120Hz refresh rate for much smoother and responsive actions.

There are also a variety of screen sizes and aspect ratios including 3:2 for web browsing and productivity, 16:9 for watching videos and environment and a 16:10 for video and audio editing.

The laptops also have In-Bag detection which uses Intel’s dynamic tuning technology which can adjust the PC’s power to avoid overheating or battery drain when placed inside a bag.

It’s easy to wirelessly transfer content to and from the laptops using HP QuickDrop which works with the HP app on other devices including iOS, Android, Chrome or Mac.
