A 75-inch 4K TV for less than $1000? The Bauhn 75-inch 4K Ultra HD TV powered by Tizen will go on sale on Saturday April 1 as part of Aldi’s big entertainment special buys range.

There is no doubt our appetite for larger TV screen sizes is increasing with sales of 75-inch and 85-inch TVs seeing the fastest growth.

The Bauhn 75-inch has 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) so you can watch the latest shows and movies from popular streaming services in all their glory.

The TV also has three HDMI ports to attach sources like a 4K player, set top box and gaming console.

Also onboard are two USB ports which can be used to playback media from a thumb drive or portable hard drive.

The Bauhn TV is also running the Tizen TV operating system – the same software that can be found on Samsung TVs.

Tizen not only offers easy access to the TV’s menus, settings and features but also provides quick access to all your content and apps.

The system can also give you recommendations based on the streaming services you’re signed into as well as the ability to pick up right where you left off if you’re bingeing the latest show.

Customers will also have access to Samsung TV Plus which offers more than 90 streaming channels.

It’s also possible to add a sound bar to the TV to improve the audio quality.

Aldi will also be offering a 2.1 channel soundbar with built-in subwoofer for $129.

This offers 60W total RMS output and a remote control to adjust bass and treble to your taste.

The sound bar also has Bluetooth onboard and can be paired with your smartphone so you can also use it to enjoy your music.
