Hisense introduces new 8K and 4K ULED TVs with Mini LED backlighting

Hisense has introduced Mini LED backlighting technology to its already impressive ULED 4K and 8K smart TVs to enhance picture quality, brightness, colour and contrast.

Mini LED brings a tight array of tiny direct-lit LEDs that can be switched off when needed to create deeper black levels.

The precision of the ULED Mini LED TV is also further enhanced by the onboard Quantum Dot Colour technology – and the result is a true-to-life image with accurate colours.

Hisense’s first ULED Mini LED TV will be a 75-inch 8K model that will be followed by a 4K TV that will be available in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes.

The 8K TV will also include impressive upscaling technology powered by AI and Hisense’s Hi-View Engine Pro.

Both the Hisense TVs – 4K and 8K – will be IMAX Enhanced which means they will offer HDR10+ along with Dolby Vision HDR in addition to them being 8K Ultra HD and 4K Ultra HD certified.

On top of the crisp and bright picture quality, the Hisense ULED Mini LED TVs will also offer crystal clear sound with support for Dolby Atmos and eARC so viewers get a complete and immersive viewing experience.

It’s even better for gamers with Game Mode Pro onboard plus VRR (variable refresh rate) and ALLM (auto low latency mode), HDMI 2.1 and AMD FreeSync technologies.

On the design side the ULED 8K Mini LED TV and ULED 4K Mini LED TV have a minimal look, thin bezels and a low profile stand.

They are also easy on the eyes with TUV Care+ low blue light certification.

“Following extensive testing and refinement, we are pleased to introduce our Mini LED TVs which will complete our 2021 ULED TV range,” says Andre Iannuzzi, head of marketing, Hisense Australia.

“In particular, the exceptional ULED 8K Mini LED TV represents the epitome of our local foray into 8K and is set to be one of the best televisions in its category.

“As with all of our TVs, our ULED Mini LED TVs aim to exceed customer expectations.

“From their ability to upscale lower resolution content to create a pristine and precise picture quality through to their intuitive smarts, these are – in every sense – ultra-premium TVs.

“We are excited to be introducing ULED Mini LED TV technology to Australians and are confident it will resonate well in market,” he added.

The Hisense ULED TV Mini LED TVs will be available in Q2 2021.
